About Peoria Concrete Lifting

Most sunken concrete in Central Illinois does not need to be replaced. It needs to be lifted. Every year, Tri-County homeowners pay for full tear-outs on slabs that could have been raised back to level in a morning for a fraction of the price. We quote the honest comparison, and when lifting is the right answer, which it often is, we lift.

Local soil, local problem

Concrete leveling is shaped by what sits under the slab. Under Peoria that means clay-heavy glacial soils that swell in wet springs and shrink in dry summers, river-valley drainage, and freeze-thaw winters that push water beneath slabs and pry them apart. Century-old foundations in the West Bluff behave differently from builder-backfill settlement in Dunlap subdivisions. The pattern is local, and so is the fix.

How we work

  • Free estimates, measured on site. Not a guess over the phone, and never a pressured pitch.
  • Both methods, priced honestly. Mudjacking where a slurry lift is the better value, polyjacking where foam is worth its premium. We explain the trade-offs and quote both where sensible.
  • Fix the cause, not just the symptom. Every lift includes joint sealing and straight advice about the drainage that sank the slab in the first place.
  • Replacement recommended when true. If a slab is genuinely past saving, we say so.
